Thanks, Tom...  for all the info.  That definitely sounds like what's 
happening.  I'll try and ferret out which one it is.  I think it is either 
the tube amp emulator or the delay.  I can easily replace the delay with 
your delay and probably fix the problem there :)

Just knowing it's not a known Ardour bug is a really good start.

I'll let you know if it turns out to have been a TAP plugin.


oh, and FWIW, I am digging TAP dynamics with my opto-style curves...  very 
possible to make a very transparent compressor.
