[ardour-users] Running two versions of ardour

Hi,

This seems like a bit of a silly question, but I want to try out the 
latest beta while also being able to use the Planet CCRMA-installed 
beta11.2 which has proved itself to be reasonably stable.  Can I just 
install the tarball and run /usr/bin/ardour or /usr/local/bin/ardour 
depending on which one I want or will that mess things up?  Or is there 
a better way to do it?
