[ardour-users] good system...but crackling in audio?

okay, here's what I get when I try to build ardour-0.9beta16.1...

plugin_ui.o(.text+0x6ad3): In function
`PluginUI::build_control_ui(ARDOUR::AudioEngine&, unsigned,
: undefined reference to `lrdf_get_scale_values'
plugin_ui.o(.text+0xc662): In function
`PluginUI::setup_scale_values(unsigned, PluginUI::ControlUI*)':
: undefined reference to `lrdf_get_scale_values'
../libs/ardour/.libs/libardour.a(ladspa_plugin.o)(.text+0x3988): In
function `ARDOUR::LadspaPlugin::save_preset(std::basic_string<char,
std::allocator<char> >)':
: undefined reference to `lrdf_add_preset'

I'm running gcc 3.2.2, glibc 2.3.2-11.9, and kernel 2.4.21-1.ll.acpi /w
low latency patch.  The distro is redhat 9 but I've manually upgraded a
lot of stuff since I first installed it.
