Hi This problem is new (to me) ?!? ..and was working before!! I install apt with rpm -ivh apt..etc no error msg so it should be ok next rpm -q apt ....... package is not installed however I can see it in yast as installed ?!?! who came across that before ..a new suse bug ??? cheers otto
