Hi and thanks for all the help to point me to the right direction I finally got it working ..but guess what, rather to continue with 9.16 (I still had some problems) I downloaded 9.17 and ./configure, make, make install worked. Now I will install 9.17 on the studio computer. ...see what happens cheers Otto
