[ardour-users] No sound...

Hi,

I had this all working fine with Thacs latest RPM of Ardour, Jack .98
from Qjackctl, etc. I run MDK 10.0 on the 2.6.5 kernel with Thacs new MM
kernel for 2.6.

Suddenly, with a session I had working, I cannot get sound out of Ardour
through jack. The vu's are showing signal in Ardour. It's almost like
it's muted somewhere because I can hear it very faintly. (And yes, I
have checked Alsamixer about 30 times)

I run jack as either user or root and it makes no difference. I have
tried in KDE (Killed arts first), Gnome, Fluxbox, xfce, etc. I can run
xmms with the alsa driver on hw:0,1 and get sound. lsmod shows all
modules for the via snd-viaXX whatever loaded.

I need to find another simple jack enabled app that I can import waves
into to test if it's Ardour related I guess...

Any thoughts??
