[ardour-users] spurious recording stops Ardour/GTK 0.377.1

im using
Ardour/GTK 0.377.1 
libardour 0.685.0 
Demudi 1.1.0

im trying to record, with jackd not in realtime. (if i set jackd to
realtime ardour cant connect to it)

after a few seconds recording, it stops spuriously.

when i stop jackd from qjackctl, i get the message "jack has either been shutdown or disconnected from
ardour because it was not fast enough"
