</div>you need to make sure that the core-file size limit is appropriate.<br>
you can see the current limit in a terminal with this command:<br>
<br>
ulimit -c<br>
<br>
you can reset it like this:<br>
<br>
ulimit -c unlimited<br>
<br>
many linux distributions now ship with the default limit being zero,<br>
which prevents core files from being created.<br>
