oh, sorry for the confusion, i didn't mean to imply that svn HEAD is 
mandatory. it's just that with fast-moving software like that, i find 
svn to be easier than constant re-downloading of tarballs.

and i recall that some plugins in your svn won't be built unless some 
experimental extensions are activated in lv2core - not that those are 
important for ardour, but it's nice to have all the latest stuff around, 
if only to make sense of the discussions on the lv2 list :)
