The only people who will pay then are the geeks
that use SVN access. No serious 'business' user
is ever going to do that. There could be the 
odd exception of a studio owner also being a
Linux guru and preferring to live on the edge.
But for most it would be pure *madness*.

Such a user wants a stable release, and be able
to install it by inserting a DVD and do a few
mouse clicks. He wants the thing to work without 
having to upgrade or even know about obscure
things like compilers, autotools, scons, and a
zillion libraries. He wants a telephone number
where he can find support if things go wrong.
