Whatever you might mean by "realtime kernel support",
I am happily running ecasound and other multitrack
recording software on both FreeBSD and OpenBSD.

Also, there is even a port of ardour on FreeBSD
- I am just trying to have it on OpenBSD too.

Any idea about my original configuration questions?
