I fear we just saw a fine example of 'post-without-reading-the-OP's-
message' :-(

>From your screen dump it looks like the error occurs during the final 
linking phase. One strange observation: there's no link instruction to
link the alsa library - no wonder all references to alsa functions are 
undefined! 
What does:

 $ pkg-config --libs alsa

show? Why doesn't scons detect this problem?
Any chance of a full build log?
