[Ardour-Dev] Track templates creates... tracks without recording ability? or buses?

Wanted to get this out here before any release was made in case it turns 
out to be a bug.
Are track templates only supposed to be able to create buses?

Right now I've made a track template on a mono TRACK with two plugins. 
When I choose to create a new track with the template, it becomes a 
track-with-no-recordability, or a bus.
