[ardour-dev] NEW: stacked regions display mode

Hi Carl

A fine start.

Only comment so far is that all of the regions on a track get their own lane 
on the track, so as soon as you have a fair number on a track they look tiny.

Would it be possible to stack them at the point at which they happen rather 
than giving them their own lane. eg

now with 3 regions on a track

                              [^^^^^^^^^^^]                  Region 3
      [*****]                                                    Region 2
[-----------------------------------------------------------]     Region 1


Would prefer

      [*****]               [^^^^^^^^^^^]                  Region 2 and 3
[-----------------------------------------------------------]     Region 1


And if you end up with more regions in one place


        [_]                        [===]
      [*****]               [^^^^^^^^^^^]    
[-----------------------------------------------------------]

Attached is a screen shot of a moderately complax track now.


Don't know how tricky this would be to do.
