OK, here is a Mac OS X Tiger universal release of XJadeo (actually
Qjadeo, but I just call it Jadeo :)

Some bits are a little rough but it should work well enough out of the
box for syncing video playback with the JACK transport.  You will need
to be running both X11 and JACK before you try to start it.  It
supports a variety of video formats, you'll just have to try them to
see if it works.
