You're probably aware of the following issues, as these problems are not
only beta7.1 related:

When upgrading from ardour1 to ardour2, i import the existing audiofiles
from ardour1 into mono tracks in ardour2. Unfortunately the edit cursor
(which is the sync point) moves along with the imported file. Manually
repositioning the edit cursor resulted in a phase shift. Weird!

At the moment, only exporting a complete session is possible. Region
export (with right click) crashes.
