OK, it seems putting Beta29 back into my CCRMA installation with nightly
CVS tarball installed has "cured" this problem. I have uninstalled the
beta29 and now my cvs installation is working perfectly again. Any
talented Guru out there tell what the **** I did to create that wierdness ?
I always uninstall the CCRMA beta before I install CVS. I did hdparm -t
tests on both my drives and was satisfied with the results; 53 mps on my
Audio disk; so that wasn't the problem.
Anyway, it's fixed now.
Cheers,
Geoff.
