[ardour-dev] About the horizontal scroll bar behavior

I guess this topic has already discussed in this list, but I didn't 
found it in a quick search...

When opening an ardour project I always see the horizontal scroll bar 
with a maximum size handler  (I don't know if "handler" is the exact 
word: I mean the visual segment you grab with the mouse ).

Of course, I'm able to explore the entire session using the keyboard 
cursor, or zooming-out. But I'd like to also be able to do it with the 
scroll bar.

I see that you can scroll till the "farthest" explored point. What about 
setting this point to the latest region ending, at loading time ?

(I'm using the last cvs-snapshot.)

ps: lately I've been successfully using ardour to do audio labeling 
stuff. Setting range and location marks, and then parsing the ardour xml 
file. Things that I used to do quite painfully with Wavesurfer.
