[ardour-dev] contextual menus off screen OSX

Makes sense to me.  OSX 10.3 uses a very old version of GTK+ (1.1 or so)
which I am afraid to update as I would prefer to not compromise the
stability of my build.

sounds like a problem with the OS X X server. this doesn't happen
using XFree86 or X.org servers. on my system, gtk apparently has
enough info to move the location of the menu automatically.
