Hello!

Here are some of the patches I'm using for ardour. They fall into three
categories:

  * patches to build against the libgtkmm, libsigc, libgtk-canvas,
libsoundtouch installed on your system. They are unconditional as of
now. I'll make these optional soon. These will only be of interest
for packagers or curious users. They work on Debian. Other
distributions probably don't have a suitable libsoundtouch and/or
    libgtk-canvas.

    01_dont-build-some-libs.patch
    02_link-against-system-libs.patch
    02a_config-system-libs.patch
    02b_correct-libsoundtouch-name.patch

  * patches that fix the use of include paths to be consistent. Some of
the shipped libraries' headers are accessible via a short path or a
long path. These patches make the includes work with the libraries
on the system. But they should be also applicable to the build with
    the shipped libraries.

    03_cvs-200309232007-fix-gtk-canvas-includes.patch
    04_fix-gtk-canvas-include-in-crossfade_edit.patch
    04_gtkardour-about-gdk-include-fix.patch

  * The rest:
The midipp SConstruct has a call to pkg-config that is not in PATH.
    03_fix-midipp-asound-pkg-call.patch

The atomic implementation for sparc is no good. See:
    http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=ardour&ver=0.9beta3-5&arch=sparc&stamp=1064030028&file=log&as=raw
This falls back to the generic one.
    22_remove-atomic-impl-sparc.patch

        Robert.
