[ardour-dev] scons build available for testing

You will also need scons, which is really nothing more than a python
script plus a bunch of python libraries, from http://www.scons.org/

To build:

   * unpack the tarball (NOTE: it does not unpack into an "ardour"
     directory - to be fixed)
   * cd into the top level
   * scons

Its quicker than the autoconf-based build, and much more elegant. For
once in the history of this project, I feel that the build system is
actually comprehensible, manageable and appropriately flexible.

Please report successes and failures. Do not attempt to install
this version of ardour - the install step still requires a little
work.
