Hello, sorry if this is out of topic, but by googling I couldn't find
anything useful on it;
I get this line, flooding for about ten seconds before ardour starts:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkdraw.c: line 268 (gdk_draw_text): assertion
`drawable != NULL' failed.
I also get other messages just as ardour starts:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkimage.c: line 343 (gdk_image_get): assertion
`window != NULL' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkimage.c: line 417 (gdk_image_destroy):
assertion `image != NULL' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkpixmap.c: line 822 (gdk_pixmap_unref):
assertion `pixmap != NULL' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkgc.c: line 288 (gdk_gc_unref): assertion `gc !=
NULL' failed.
I get the same results even changing the LANG and LC_CTYPE variables,
which are the only variables I tend to change in order to localize the
environment, since I use el_GR globally.
The other problem is that naming of tracks gets presented as blocks and
not letters, and this persists even changing to it_IT, en_US both in
UTF-8 or ISO-8859.
I really don't know if this is relevant to ardour itself, if not could
you please give me a hint on where to look (if it's not too
time-consuming)....
Thanks in advance
Tommy
