[ardour-dev] tarball build errors

Hi,
I've been trying to build the latest tarballs from the ardour website for the
past few months on and off and have been running into problems.
I found the message mentioning that CVS requires SIGCCVSBUILD=1 added to the
command line but that doesn't do anything for me with the nightly build. If I
copy sigc++config.h into the libs/sigc++/sigc++/config/ folder make gets one
step further before it dies.
I have also tried the stable tarball 0.99 but that dies in the later stages of
the build too.
If someone can confirm that the packages available on the website build for them
it would be appreciated.
Rgds.

Being on stage with the band in front of crowds shouting, "Get off! No!
We want normal music!", I think that was more like acting than anything
I've ever done.
