I disconnected the BCF->ardour MIDI connection, so there wasn't a
chance of it wrapping back on itself, and I didn't see any change in
the fader behavior.  I'm not past thinking that this _is_ a US$200 
piece of gear.  Somehow I'm thinking it's never going to feel like a Neve.
