Mark, if you need help with setting up cvs, ask, anytime. 
http://ardour.org/download.php basically says it all. It's easy and 
worth every minute you put into it.

You'll run Ardour from the build dir and never again have to scratch 
your head wondering about old installs or whether you have the changes 
that you just talked about on irc.
