[ardour-dev] PH line not moving

Hi all,

I reported earlier on some sessions in which the PH line would not
move while running.

There seem to be two things related to this:

1. Removing the 'master' track,
2. Setting the outputs on a mixer strip.

I usually do (1) since I don't need the master track, I just want
separate outputs from each track and no mixing (using an external
mixer).

The following seems to be consistent:

Case 1:

- create a new session
- remove the master track
- create a new 1-ch track
- insert an external .wav into the new track
- save session and terminate
- reload session later

--> the PH line will not move anymore during play, but jump
at the right point when stopping.

Case 2:

- create a new session
- remove the master track
- create a new 1-ch track
- insert an external .wav into the new track
- use output->edit on the mixer strip of the new track

--> the PH line will not move anymore during play, but jump
at the right point when stopping. Same problem when the
      session is reloaded later.

OTOH, I have one (out of 34) session which has no master track
but still works as expected.

I hope this will give you some hints as to where to look...
