The value in libs/ardour/session_events.cc is now 512. You mentioned on 
irc that every track puts ~7 events into the pool so Ardour can handle 
up to 73 tracks (512 / 7 = 73) right now, is that true?

Is there a price-tag on increasing the value some more?

You also mentioned on irc that you're not happy with the way Ardour 
initializes the Session event pool but that it wasn't trivial to come 
up with a better mechanism. I wonder if the track limitation is going 
to stay for a longer time or not (Gonna write something about Ardour so 
I kind of need to know).
