Sorry, I noticed after compiling beta 14-2 overnight. And yes, I should 
always specify versions (it was late night here in 
Italy!-excusesexcusesexcuses-).
Thank you, also crashes during adding or removing tracks seem to have 
been addressed.
I'll post any new bugs if they occur.

Paul, is the "gdb ardour -> run -> (crash) -> thread apply all bt" 
enough for debugging or should I always build for development (touching 
dir "BUILD_FOR_DEVELOPMENT", adding --enable-development 
- --disable-optimize at ./configure) in order to use gdb? Since I'm fairly 
good in using the command line (and I want to help out) but cannot 
interpret the debug output, is it enough for you?
