does pipermail now have a search engine? last time i looked (for the 
linux-audio-* lists), it only rendered thread views that you could 
sort a little, but no full-text search, which makes it pretty much 
useless imho.
i'd go with htdig instead (there may be others, but this is the one 
i know...)
