GTK2 will most probably fix this. This is most probably a GTK1 focus issue.
Yes, this is very irritating, but we have not been able to find what causes
this.

Btw. Opening a context menu (by right clicking somewhere) and closing the
menu seems to apply the proper focus. This helps when the focus is really
lost and not just at a track name or something similar.
